The John Templeton Foundation

Sir John Templeton is one of the world's great financial gurus - and founder of the renowned Templeton Funds (now known as the Franklin Templeton Funds).

It is less well known that Sir John is also a great philanthropist, as well as an ardent advocate of increased research and dissemination of information on the relationship between Science and Theology/Spirituality.

In 2002, it was my pleasure to meet with Sir John at his headquarters in the Bahamas, where he asked me to direct a public relations campaign to promote his monthly newsletter entitled, "Science and Theology News."  I devised and executed a number of creative publicity and marketing programs targeted to reach key potential readers in the academic, scientific and medical communities.  During my two contracts for the Templeton Foundation, circulation among these targeted audiences was substantially increased.
