Opportunity International
provides loans for entrepreneurs and small businesses
in emerging countries. Although they've been
in existence for 30 years, they were relatively
unknown. Mike's job was to get the word
out about this worthwhile organization.

CURE International:
CURE International,
headquartered in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, is
a faith-based humanitarian non-profit organization
that builds and runs teaching hospitals for
poor, disabled children in developing countries.
It was founded by an American orthopedic surgeon,
C. Scott Harrison, M.D., and his wife, Sally,
a registered nurse, in 1996. CURE presently
runs the largest polyclinic in Kandahar, Afghanistan,
which treats 12,000 men, women and children
outpatients each month; and teaching hospitals
for disabled children in Kenya, Uganda and
Malawi,
Africa (with plans for new hospitals in Zambia,
Ethiopia and Egypt); in The Dominican Republic;
and in Honduras. CURE International is also
hoping to open the first teaching hospital for
